Van Gogh in Auvers

His Final Months

Vincent van Gogh lived the last months of his life in the French village Auvers-sur-Oise, near Paris, from May 20th until his death on July 29th 1890. In these months Vincent was very productive. In 70 days he produced 74 paintings and over 50 drawings. An extremely high production, even for Van Gogh. He painted some of his most famous masterpieces, such as Wheatfield with CrowDokter Paul Gachet en The Church of Auvers-sur-Oise.

By commission of Hypsos Museumstudio we produced and installed Matrix Frame Light Boxes at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. This 800×223 cm and 282×282 cm light boxes are equipped with CCT LED technology that allows the Museum  staff to change the color from 2600 to 7000 Kelvin and also dim the output from 100 to 0%
